Event Server expectations

  1. Make guests feel cared for.Be welcoming, attentive, and professional. Stay calm when the pace picks up.
  2. Know the plan.Understand the menu, timeline, and your assignment. Ask questions at lineup when anything is unclear.
  3. Notice what needs doing.Refill water, clear appropriately, keep service areas organized, and offer help without waiting to be asked.
  4. Support the whole team.Contribute to unloading, setup, service, and breakdown. Follow the Captain’s direction and support your teammates.
  5. Communicate thoughtfully.Bring questions or concerns to the Captain. If you don’t know an answer, find out before responding to a guest.
First event?

Tell the Captain when you arrive. They will connect you with your trainer or assign someone for you to work with.
