Event Bartender

A Chef’s Garden Event Bartender combines skilled beverage service with genuine hospitality. They create a welcoming bar experience, remain calm and professional, and contribute to the entire front-of-house team—taking initiative to help on the floor whenever bar volume allows.

Event Bartender expectations

  1. Get the bar ready.Know the beverage offerings and keep your station stocked, clean, and organized.
  2. Make guests feel welcome.Serve with warmth and attention while staying calm, efficient, and professional.
  3. Take initiative on the floor.When you’re not serving guests and bar volume permits, help with water service, clearing, and cocktail service without waiting to be asked.
  4. Be ready to support dinner service.You may be assigned to serve food, wine, or water alongside the rest of the team.
  5. Stay present.Remain at the bar or on the floor unless directed otherwise. Stay aware of both your station and the team’s needs.

Your bar comes first, but quiet moments are your cue to scan the floor and help the event team.
